The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawrence looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Lawrence seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deep keeping hold of Lawrence's head, controlling as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deep is trying to control but Lawrence manages to pass to mount!
Deep bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deep working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lawrence's head.
Lawrence might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Deep loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Deep must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Deep sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Lawrence keeping moving, preventing Deep from controlling successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lawrence is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Deep wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lawrence is now in half guard.
Deep works his way to full guard. Good work.

Deep is looking for a triangle here but Lawrence uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Deep is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Deep is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Deep tries to roll over but Lawrence keeps him under control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Deep is trying to control but can't.
Lawrence content to control rather than advance.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Lawrence keeps the fight on the outside.

Lawrence drives through and clinches with Deep against the cage.
Lawrence wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lawrence throws a knee to the head but misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Deep gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lawrence regains guard.

Lawrence has his feet on Deep's thighs here. He's pushed Deep off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Deep screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
