PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryzen Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myers Hockles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dall might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scarecrow. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall fails with the takedown
and Dall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Ryzen Dall has been cut.

Dall shoots in and bounces Hockles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hockles had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dall defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hockles working a defensive guard but Dall manages to pass into side control anyway.

Hockles tries to buck Dall off but Dall is having none of it.

Dall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dall wants to control but Hockles is keeping him busy.

Dall works his way into side control.

Hockles is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dall is working to tighten his grip on Hockles's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hockles has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dall is really squeezing tight and eventually Hockles passes out! Dall breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
