These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson leaves Jack with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Johnson dives in for a single leg takedown but Jack sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is trying to buck Jack off.
Jack looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Johnson is avoiding damage well.
Jack scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Johnson to see if he's OK.

Jack misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
