Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen Stuntin' like my Daddy as his entrance music. Shawn Carter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Doe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Carter!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doe.
Doe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carter.
A right-left combo lands from Carter.
Shawn Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter misses with the combination.
Doe scores with a sloppy right hand. Carter should have avoided that one.
Good work by Doe as he checks the leg kick.
Carter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Doe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carter.
Some wild striking there from Carter.
Doe throws a body kick that misses.
Doe lands with a nice body punch.
Carter throws a jab but it's blocked by Doe.
Carter misses with a wild combination.
Doe lands with a hook. Carter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A punch combination from Doe misses.
Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A bone on bone clash there as Doe blocks the leg kick.
Carter throws a right hand that Doe ducks under and follows up with a left that Doe also avoids with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Doe. That snapped Carter's head back.
Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Doe counters with a nice body shot.
Carter fails with the takedown.
Carter looks gassed!
Doe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Doe, as that shot connected.
Doe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doe throws a left that rocks Carter and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Doe dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Carter regain composure!


It looks like Shawn Carter has been cut.
A lull in the action here.
Carter is looking to reverse the position.
Doe moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carter stops Doe from passing to mount.
A lull in the action here.
Carter looking for a sweep but Doe has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Doe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carter tries to reverse the position but Doe maintains control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Doe controlling the position easily from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carter is in all sorts of trouble here.
Doe controlling his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jon Doe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Doe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carter tries to get to full guard but Doe has control of the leg.
Doe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Doe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Shawn Carter's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Carter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doe.
Carter takes one to the chin there.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Doe here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Doe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Doe performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Doe wants to take a breather but Carter is having none of it.
Carter is looking for a sweep. Doe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter gets back to full guard.

Carter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Doe passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Carter is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Carter's face as Doe controls the position.
Doe trying to control the position but Carter is working away.
Carter tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Doe presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Carter is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Doe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carter working to try and regain half guard.
Doe content just to control the position here.
Carter sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Doe controlling the pace.
Carter tries to roll over but Doe keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Doe content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Doe blocks the strikes from Carter.
Doe controlling the action here.
Carter is looking for a sweep. Doe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Doe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Doe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Doe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Doe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Doe scores with a nice body kick.
Carter walks into a stiff left hand from Doe.
Doe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Carter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Carter there as he acknowledges the shot.
Doe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carter can do to turn this around?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doe throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nice shot lands for Doe.
Nice body kick there by Doe.
Doe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Doe lands a right hook to the body.
Carter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Doe.
Carter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Doe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice body kick from Doe.
Carter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Doe digs a good hook to Carter's body.
Doe getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Carter on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Doe throws an overhand right that drops Carter like a sack of potatoes! Doe dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
