The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NESS shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
NESS has a takedown stuffed.

NESS closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dobinson to the mat! Dobinson manages to get full guard.
NESS trying to control but Dobinson is working from the bottom.
Dobinson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
NESS stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dobinson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dobinson in particular looking to stall.

Dobinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. NESS is working away from the top position though.
