McGee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Aybek Nurzhan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nurzhan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Aybek Nurzhan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

McGee drops Nurzhan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nurzhan looks back up at him and smiles so McGee waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Nurzhan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McGee rushes Nurzhan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Nurzhan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McGee gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as McGee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Jeez, Aybek Nurzhan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
