The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vulcun bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Clayton wants to get back to his feet but Vulcun is dominant here and he's now got Clayton's back!
Clayton is trying to stand back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vulcun controlling the position well here. Clayton rolled but Vulcun kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Vulcun lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Clayton is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Vulcun.

Vulcun has the hooks in. Clayton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Clayton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vulcun has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Clayton's body.
Let's hope that Vulcun has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Vulcun shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Clayton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Vulcun decides to stand back up. Vulcun steps back and let's Clayton get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vulcun blocks an uppercut.
Vulcun has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Clayton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vulcun's elbow.

Vulcun pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Clayton gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Clayton has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

It looks like Juan Clayton has been cut.
Vulcun dips a shoulder and cracks Clayton with a mighty uppercut! Clayton falls back against the cage and Vulcun unloads with a barrage of strikes! Clayton is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vulcun screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
