The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a body punch but Nyysonen moves out of range.
Brooks uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nyysonen.
Brooks lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

As Nyysonen backs off Brooks throws a huge counter combo but Nyysonen manages to avoid it all.
Brooks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nyysonen circles away quickly and effectively.

Brooks uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nyysonen has time to react.

Nyysonen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brooks on the side of the head.
Nyysonen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brooks manages to avoid it.

Nyysonen tries to bum rush Brooks with a series of wild strikes but Brooks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nyysonen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brooks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nyysonen somewhat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nyysonen. Brooks does a little dance to reset his feet.

Nyysonen throws a body punch but Brooks moves out of range.

Nyysonen tries to counter with a takedown but Brooks is quick to defend against it.
Brooks punishes Nyysonen's body with a nice straight punch.

Brooks lands a left and a right that send Nyysonen crashing to the mat, dazed. Brooks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Nyysonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Nyysonen falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
