The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Ashley throws a big counter combination but Silva scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Ashley moves out of range easily.
Ashley shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ashley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Silva lands a hook that snaps the head of Ashley backwards.

It looks like Faustino Ashley has been cut.

Oh Ashley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva working the clinch nicely. Ashley is working for position but Silva cracks him with a big knee to the head! Ashley crumples up against the cage and Silva lands two more shots before the ref can save Ashley! This one is all over!
