And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Orilio Doomsday!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly has his takedown stuffed
and Doomsday counters with a nice uppercut.

Doomsday feints and as Kelly raises his hands in defense, Doomsday changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Doomsday pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kelly is keeping the position for now.
Kelly pulls Doomsday in to control the position.
Doomsday with a flurry of punches that miss.
Doomsday throws an elbow that misses. Kelly uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Doomsday's guard. Nice move by Kelly!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kelly throws a strike but Doomsday rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kelly wants to hit a switch here but Doomsday passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kelly there!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Doomsday wants to control the pace but Kelly is squirming around nicely.
Kelly is looking to improve his position but Doomsday isn't that keen on the idea.

Kelly is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kelly is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kelly is squirming around, avoiding Doomsday's attempts to control the action.

Kelly is desperately trying to improve his position but Doomsday has a good base and remains in mount.
Kelly wants to control but Doomsday is having none of it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Kelly gets tackled into the cage by Doomsday. Doomsday maintains the clinch.
Kelly has Doomsday pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Doomsday manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kelly tries to score a body lock takedown but Doomsday shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kelly keeping moving, preventing Doomsday from controlling successfully.

Doomsday stands up and waves to Kelly to follow him.

Orilio Doomsday showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Doomsday decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kelly to his feet.

Well Doomsday has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
