Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Surgenor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo Davinci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joshua Surgenor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leonardo Davinci!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davinci with a lazy takedown attempt
and Davinci takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Davinci fails with an attempt to clinch.
Surgenor jabs Davinci to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Surgenor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Surgenor drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Surgenor is trying to trip Davinci. He has hold of a leg but Davinci is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Surgenor persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Davinci pushes Surgenor off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Surgenor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Surgenor walks into a straight right hand from Davinci.
Davinci tries to clinch there but Surgenor circles away.
Surgenor scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Davinci shoots for a takedown but Surgenor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Davinci is looking to clinch.
Davinci looks to throw a body kick
and Surgenor counters with a straight right hand.
We've been informed that Davinci has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Surgenor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Surgenor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Davinci tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Surgenor controlling the position well here. Davinci rolled but Surgenor kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Davinci is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Davinci covering up well and avoiding damage.
Davinci really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Surgenor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Surgenor is cranking Davinci's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Davinci! He's tightened the choke and Davinci is tapping out!
