Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Barreto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ze Minotauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minotauro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All I Ever Wanted - Basshunter. Santiago Barreto has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barreto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Minotauro chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barreto can pounce on him.

Minotauro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Minotauro is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Let's hope that Minotauro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Minotauro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Minotauro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Barreto's guard.

Barreto wants to improve his position but Minotauro is controlling well.
Barreto is looking to control Minotauro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Barreto avoid being mounted?

Minotauro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
I looks like Minotauro might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Minotauro wants to take a breather but Barreto is having none of it.

Minotauro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Minotauro is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Barreto's shoulder. That is not cool.

Barreto drives through with a takedown into guard.

Minotauro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barreto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barreto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Barreto tries to free his leg and advance position but Minotauro is retaining full guard.
Minotauro has control of Barreto's left arm, preventing Barreto from doing any damage.
Minotauro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Minotauro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Barreto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Minotauro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Barreto's back instead.
I would not like to be Barreto right now.

Minotauro has got one arm under Barreto's chin. This could be trouble... Barreto trying to control the other hand but Minotauro gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Barreto has tapped out! The fight is over!
