Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Angelov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Weaver knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Angelov looking to control and managing it successfully.
Let's hope that Angelov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Angelov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like Angelov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Angelov.

Weaver can't escape the position.
