PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyran Gaia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gaia's choice of entrance music: Run Rabbit Run. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaia throws a right and a left that Arnold avoids nicely.
It looked like Arnold was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Horrible takedown attempt by Gaia or perhaps it was just good defense by Arnold, which made it look bad.
Gaia throws a right hand that Arnold ducks under and follows up with a left that Arnold also avoids with ease.

Gaia closes the distance and clinches up with Arnold, looking for a takedown. Gaia pushes Arnold against the cage but Arnold circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

As Gaia tries to get set, Arnold tries to push him back and clinch up but Gaia manages to avoid the attempt.
Arnold really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gaia shoots in looking for a takedown but Arnold manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gaia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gaia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Gaia moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Arnold! Gaia continues to tee off on Arnold, landing with a left and a right! Gaia connects with a right hand that leaves Arnold sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Gaia!
