Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justin Sane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sane comes into the arena with Never Dead blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sane's jab looks to have found its range, popping Leite under the eye.
Leite shoots in looking for a takedown but Sane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leite's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sane tries to counter by clinching up but Leite breaks away and moves out of range.

Justin Sane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonardo Leite.

and Sane counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Leite drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Leite throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sane was covering up waiting for the punch and Leite finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Leite tries to free his leg and advance position but Sane is retaining full guard.
Sane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leite on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Leite wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Leite working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Leite is looking to take a break and control but Sane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Leite has hold of Sane's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sane tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Leite cranks the arm and Sane screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sane, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
