The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Perez throws a solid leg kick but Montgomery takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Perez.
A left lands for Montgomery.
Montgomery connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Montgomery lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Perez at a distance.
Perez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Montgomery throws out a powerful jab.

and Montgomery counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Perez on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Montgomery catches Perez with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Perez forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
