The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eugene looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Azhiev!

Azhiev bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Eugene has his foot on Azhiev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Azhiev works his way back into a safe position though.
Eugene is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Eugene is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Azhiev drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Azhiev as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Eugene screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Azhiev! Nice submission victory there!

Anzhor Azhiev opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
