The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh misses with a low kick.
Walsh sets himself, and Wilder steps forward looking for the clinch! Walsh avoids it this time.
A lazy body kick from Wilder
and Walsh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wilder's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walsh throwing strikes but missing.
Wilder scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wilder throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wilder moves into range and clinches up with Walsh.
Wilder tries to break free but Walsh pushes him back against the cage.
Wilder manages to break the clinch.
Walsh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wilder lands a big right hand that sends Walsh crashing to the mat! Wilder stays standing though and waves Walsh back to his feet!
Walsh is rocked!
It looks like Jeffrey Walsh has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilder lands a body shot.
Oh Walsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walsh is breathing heavily.
Wilder connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Walsh covering up! Wilder comes in with a big uppercut and Walsh goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
