Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasse Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerr comes to the cage accompanied by Them Bones. Hansson has chosen Manic Street Preachers - Faster as his entrance music. Mark Kerr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hasse Hansson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kerr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hansson pushes Kerr off looking to stand but Kerr dives back in and keeps control.
Hansson tries to roll over but Kerr keeps him under control.
Hansson is trying to control but can't.
Kerr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hansson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hansson wants to get back to full guard.
Hansson manages to get to full guard.
Hansson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kerr throws and elbow that misses. Hansson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kerr's guard. Nice move by Hansson!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hansson wants to stand and escape but instead Kerr has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hansson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerr uses his free foot to push down on Hansson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hansson.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kerr pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kerr is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hansson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hansson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Horrible takedown by Kerr or perhaps it was just good defense by Hansson which made him look bad.

Mark Kerr showed his dominance in that final round.
