Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilbur Barlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Angelov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Angelov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Barlow to the ground. Angelov is now in Barlow's guard.
Angelov is standing up over Barlow. Barlow looks to escape but Angelov dives into side control.
Barlow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Angelov on the ground.

Angelov is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Barlow will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Barlow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Angelov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barlow, who protects the arm well.

Barlow is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Barlow tries to bench press Angelov off him but Angelov keeps the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Angelov shoots in and bounces Barlow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Barlow is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Angelov dives into side control.

Angelov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Angelov. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Angelov is looking to cinch up a triangle. Barlow throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Angelov's body to avoid the submission. Angelov has instead reached around Barlow's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Angelov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
