Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Conroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Puma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conroy comes to the cage accompanied by The Irish Rover. Johnny Puma is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Conroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Puma!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conroy lands with a right hand.
Conroy tries to sprawl but Puma drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Puma sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Conroy defending well though.
Puma thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Conroy's head.
Puma scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Conroy has hold of Puma's hands but Puma slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Puma working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Conroy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Puma on the ground.

Puma has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Puma seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Conroy looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Conroy takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Puma's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
