And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Battle!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nystrom slips a jab and a cross from Battle.

Nystrom moves into the clinch successfully.
Nystrom scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Battle fails to pull guard.
Nystrom lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Battle takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Christian Battle has been cut.

Battle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nystrom gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Noam Nystrom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Battle.
Nystrom lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Nystrom definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Battle takes a shot to the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Battle has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Battle is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Battle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nystrom just stands there and leans against the cage.
Battle is still on wobbly legs! Can Nystrom finish him?
Nystrom lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Nystrom lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Battle or not.
Battle seems to have recovered his senses.
Nystrom lands with a left to the head.

Nystrom drops Battle onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Battle is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Nystrom pushes Battle against the cage. Nystrom is working some dirty boxing. Nystrom pushes off with a quick right hook! Battle goes down! Battle tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Nystrom moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
