Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Roussow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temoodschin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken Roussow could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Temoodschin Khan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Roussow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Temoodschin Khan!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan tries to keep at a distance but Roussow has taken the fight into the clinch.
Roussow tries to throw a body punch but Khan avoids it by throwing Roussow back against the cage.

Khan breaks from the clinch.
Roussow scores with a three punch combo!
Roussow throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Khan knocks Roussow to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


It looks like Ken Roussow has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roussow is trying to improve his position.

Khan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Roussow to his feet.
Roussow blocks a head kick by Khan.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Roussow moves out of range easily.
Roussow lands an overhand right.
Khan misses with a head kick.
Roussow lands a body shot.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Temoodschin Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roussow blocks a head kick by Khan.

Roussow has managed to clinch.

Roussow breaks the clinch.
Khan tries a head kick but it misses.
Roussow connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Roussow wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Roussow closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Khan's guard.
Roussow is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Roussow lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Roussow content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Khan is looking to stand up but Roussow isn't so interested in that idea.
Roussow trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom.
Roussow is really struggling to control Khan but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Roussow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Roussow won't allow Khan to get back to his feet.
Roussow engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Khan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roussow is controlling him.
Roussow trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khan wants to stand up but Roussow is controlling him.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Khan tries a head kick but it misses.
As Khan tries to get set, Roussow tries to push him back and clinch up but Khan manages to avoid the attempt.
Roussow connects with a looping right hand.

Khan lands a high kick to the side of Roussow's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Khan dives into guard, looking to finish.


Roussow is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Roussow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Oh Roussow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Roussow has his foot on Khan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Khan works his way back into a safe position though.
Roussow seems to have got his legs back now.
Khan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Khan wants to stand and escape but instead Roussow has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Khan wants to stand up but Roussow is controlling him.
Roussow throwing strikes but missing.
Roussow controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Roussow trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Khan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roussow is controlling him.
Roussow postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Roussow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Khan's head.
Roussow stops Khan from standing up.
Roussow landing with the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Khan wants to get back to his feet but Roussow is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Roussow scoring with punches to the head and body.
Khan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Roussow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roussow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roussow prevents Khan from getting back to his feet.
Roussow slips nicely into half guard.
Khan tries to kick Roussow off but Roussow keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Roussow not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Roussow prevents Khan from standing back up.
Ground and pound from Roussow.
Khan wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Temoodschin Khan will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ken Roussow's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Roussow takes a kick to the side of the head.
Crack! A monster head kick from Khan and Roussow falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Khan!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Temoodschin Khan!
Temoodschin Khan spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
