The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon shoots for a takedown but Anoai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anoai can do anything to dispel that myth.
Anoai misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Boon wants to work for an arm triangle but Anoai is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boon is looking for a kimura but Anoai is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boon to get the leverage.
Boon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Anoai has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boon is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anoai wants to improve his position but Boon is controlling well.
Anoai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boon pulls his head out easily.
Anoai is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Boon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anoai defends it well.

Boon maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Anoai could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Boon has cracked it and Anoai is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Boon!

William Boon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
