And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dam Son!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


It looks like Dam Son has been cut.
The Sumo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sumo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sumo throws a head punch that misses.
Son blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Son looking to slow down the pace here.
Sumo has a couple of punches blocked by Son.
Son throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sumo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A knee to the head by Son.


It looks like The Sumo has been cut.
Sumo misses with the head strike.
Son putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Sumo in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Sumo is breathing heavily.
Sumo takes a knee to the side of the body.
Son working Sumo over with knees to the body.
Son lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Son is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Dam Son decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
