The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cartman tries to clinch up.

cartman has Nash up against the cage in a clinch.

cartman wants to break free but Nash has control.

Nash is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. cartman can't fight it off and eventually Nash manages to take the fight to the floor. cartman looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nash postures up in cartman's guard and throws a big left but cartman blocks it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Nash rushes cartman and presses him up against the cage.

Nash manages to break the clinch.
Nash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for cartman with that takedown attempt.
Nash drops cartman with a beautiful combination! cartman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nash is looking for the KO!

It looks like eric cartman has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nash connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends cartman to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Nash!
