The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savernport goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Aki now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Savernport goes for a double leg but Aki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Aki continues to drive forward.
Aki lands a head shot.
Aki paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Aki closes the distance and clinches.

It looks like Iain Savernport has been cut.
Aki swings wildly with an uppercut but Savernport uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aki misses with a hook from the clinch.
Aki misses with a short punch on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Aki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Savernport escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
