The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McConner connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Pallo to the floor! McConner dives in looking for the finish!
Pallo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McConner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pallo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

McConner is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pallo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
McConner avoids the attempt from Pallo to control.
Pallo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McConner is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

McConner is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pallo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McConner tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Pallo darts in looking for a takedown but McConner gets double underhooks and turns Pallo into the cage.
McConner throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pallo moves forwards but McConner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McConner has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
McConner's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pallo under the eye.
McConner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McConner, as that shot connected.

Pallo is rocked!
McConner throws an overhand right that drops Pallo like a sack of potatoes! McConner dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
