The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to clinch up

and Khanidov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lee working for submissions but it's allowed Khanidov to get to half guard.

Khanidov wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khanidov is working away from the top position though.

Khanidov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khanidov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khanidov's back!

Lee is looking for the choke from the back position but Khanidov is controlling his hands well.
