The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln punishes Burns's body with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burns. Lincoln does a little dance to reset his feet.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Lincoln.
Burns scores with a jab to the body.
Lincoln tries a head kick but it misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Burns misses the target.
Lincoln shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Burns moves away from the strike by Lincoln.
Lincoln looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns connects with a body shot.

enabling Lincoln to counter with a crisp jab.
Lincoln throws a head kick that misses.

Burns connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lincoln momentarily.
Lincoln tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lincoln plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Burns is rocked!
Abraham Lincoln seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lincoln closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lincoln throws a head punch that misses.
Burns is trying to break free.
Lincoln blocks a body shot from Burns.

Burns looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lincoln lands an elbow inside that Burns shrugs off.

Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Burns is trying to maintain a safe position but Lincoln gets an underhook and turns Burns into the cage.

Lincoln lands an elbow inside that Burns shrugs off.
Lincoln goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lincoln creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Lincoln unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Burns! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Lincoln is unloading with more strikes now! Burns drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
