Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mars Asteroidbelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asteroidbelt has chosen Mars Landing Song as his entrance music. Asteroidbelt has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Mars Asteroidbelt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mars Asteroidbelt!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Asteroidbelt both land. Nice combination.
Mars Asteroidbelt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Power shoots in and gets a takedown into Asteroidbelt's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Power stays in close to Asteroidbelt's body and controls the position.
Power wants to get up but he can't break Asteroidbelt's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Power is stalling in the full guard.
Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Asteroidbelt can't keep his opponent in guard - Power advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Asteroidbelt looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Asteroidbelt is trying to stand up here but Power is controlling him well.
Power lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Asteroidbelt is looking to get back to is feet but Power passes into side control.
Power advances to mount.
Power with the ground and pound from mount.
Power looking to control and managing it successfully.
You get the feeling that Asteroidbelt really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Asteroidbelt looks winded!
Power takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Asteroidbelt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Power. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Power seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Asteroidbelt for as long as he can get away with.
Power continues to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Power stands up from mount. Strange move.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Asteroidbelt keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Asteroidbelt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Asteroidbelt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Power closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Asteroidbelt quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Power passes to full mount!
Power lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Asteroidbelt is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Power locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Asteroidbelt is forced to tap!
