Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Georges Batroc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Pierno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierno comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Umberto Tozzi - Gloria kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tim Pierno has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierno takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Pierno uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Batroc has time to react.
Pierno swings widly with a right hand
and Batroc counters with a series of strikes. Pierno will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pierno connects with a right hand. Batroc shakes it off.
Batroc walks into a straight right hand from Pierno.
Pierno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Batrocs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Batroc is rocked!
Pierno might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Batroc takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Oh Batroc is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pierno takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Batroc seems to have got his legs back now.

That was a close round but I would say that Georges Batroc will probably get the nod.

Pierno fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Batroc on the side of the head.
Batroc connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pierno. Pierno circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Pierno lands a jab to the head.
