Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micah Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Noto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Micah Zamora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Victor Noto!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noto throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zamora's head.


It looks like Micah Zamora has been cut.
Zamora ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Noto moves away.

Zamora moves into the clinch successfully.

Noto drags the fight down to the ground.
Zamora lands a couple of digs.
Zamora missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Zamora won't allow Noto to sweep him here.
Zamora really is a fat lump.
Zamora with a flurry of punches that miss.
Zamora working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zamora trying to stand up but can't free himself from Noto's guard.
Zamora throws an elbow that misses. Noto uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zamora's guard. Nice move by Noto!

Noto wants to get up but he can't break Zamora's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Noto throws a big right hand that misses.
Zamora avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Noto tries to stand but Zamora is controlling from the bottom.
Zamora keeping full guard, as Noto tries to pass.
Noto trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zamora's guard.

Zamora throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Zamora looking to hit a scissor sweep but Noto is one step ahead there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Zamora is trying to hold Noto in close to prevent damage but Noto has managed to pass into half guard.
Noto tries to stand but can't do so whilst Zamora controls his leg.

Noto is working for a kimura but Zamora is defending it quite comfortably.
Noto not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Noto trying to control from half guard but Zamora is working away.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Noto fails with the takedown
and Zamora counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Noto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zamora sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Noto misses with the body kick

and Zamora counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zamora.
Noto wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Zamora manages to pass to side control.


Zamora seems to be working for a kimura but Noto defends the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Zamora thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Noto's head.
Noto wants to get back to full guard but Zamora has passed into side control.
Zamora misses with the ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Noto struggling a bit here.
Noto is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Micah Zamora will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Micah Zamora's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Zamora closes the distance and pushes Noto back into the cage.
Zamora missing with knees to the body.

Noto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Victor Noto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noto lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Noto drops Zamora with a beautiful combination! Zamora stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Noto is looking for the KO!


Zamora is rocked!
Noto and Zamora are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Noto throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Zamora into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Noto knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Victor Noto!
Our winner, Victor Noto, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
