Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Whitaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Kawulski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawulski has chosen DMX - Slippin' as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Ray Whitaker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ray Whitaker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitaker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Whitaker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kawulski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Whitaker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kawulski manages to avoid it.
