Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kwyenoah Granes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kwyenoah Granes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abraham Lincoln!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lincoln lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lincoln throws a head kick that half lands.
Lincoln lands a head kick!
Granes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lincoln was well out of range. Poor timing from Granes.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lincoln.
Lincoln keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Granes.
Granes avoids the head kick by Lincoln.
Lincoln ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Granes moves away.
Lincoln throws a lazy head kick

and Granes counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Granes.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lincoln really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Granes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Granes cracks Lincoln with a solid left hand.
Granes forces his way into half guard.
Granes thows a huge punch but Lincoln dodges it nicely.
Granes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lincoln is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Still in half guard, Granes seems content to control.
Lincoln tries to roll over but Granes keeps him under control.
Granes slips a nice elbow through Lincoln's hands, connecting with Lincoln's forehead.
Granes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Granes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lincoln does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Granes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lincoln defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Granes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lincoln's head.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Granes blocks a head kick by Lincoln.
Lincoln bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lincoln throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Granes counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Granes connects with a couple of short punches.
Granes trying to control but Lincoln is working from the bottom.
Granes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Granes throwing strikes from guard but Lincoln blocks nicely.

Lincoln keeping moving, preventing Granes from controlling successfully.
Lincoln utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kwyenoah Granes dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lincoln throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lincoln throws a body shot but no joy.
Granes takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lincoln looks to land a body kick but Granes moved away.
Granes shoots in looking for a takedown. Lincoln tries to sprawl out of it but Granes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lincoln manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Granes dives in for a single leg takedown but Lincoln sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lincoln thuds his shin into the meat of Granes's side.
Nice sprawl there from Lincoln as Granes shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kwyenoah Granes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lincoln bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Granes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Granes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lincoln was well out of range. Poor timing from Granes.
Lincoln unleashes a big counter combination but Granes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Lincoln throws a jab when Granes was well out of range.
Granes half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Granes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lincoln.
Lincoln counters with a body kick.
Sloppy strikes from Lincoln. Those never looked like landing.
Lincoln plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Lincoln lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Lincoln keeps Granes at a distance using the push kick.
Abraham Lincoln seems to be getting the better of the standup.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Granes takes an elbow to the temple.
Lincoln lands a knee to the head.


Granes is rocked!
Lincoln lands a good knee to the midsection. Granes won't want to take too many of those.
Oh Granes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lincoln lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Granes seems to have got his legs back now.
Knees in the clinch landing for Lincoln.
Lincoln putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Granes in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Lincoln lands a body shot in the clinch.
Lincoln pushes Granes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Granes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lincoln smiles and moves away.
Lincoln throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Granes.

Both fighters circling a little - Lincoln finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Granes tries for a takedown but Lincoln sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lincoln lands a big head kick that sends Granes to the canvas! Lincoln follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abraham Lincoln!
