Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnnie Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Diaz has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leonard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz wants to control but Leonard is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Leonard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Leonard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diaz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leonard.

Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Leonard is aware though and is defending well.

Diaz has his foot on Leonard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leonard works his way back into a safe position though.

Diaz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Leonard defends well.

Diaz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Leonard should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Diaz has tightened it up now! Leonard should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Nate Diaz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
