Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Chabala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Marcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 15 - 2, fighting out of New York, Matt Chabala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Marcy!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chabala lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marcy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chabala - the referee stops the clock and Marcy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chabala. Marcy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Marcy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marcy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chabala's waist but Chabala gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marcy off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chabala feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Marcys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Chabala lands a nice looking kick to the body. Marcy takes a step back to recover.
Marcy moves forwards but Chabala connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Marcy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Marcy has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Chabala.

Chabala lands a big head kick that sends Marcy tumbling to the mat! Chabala takes a step backwards and waves Marcy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Marcy is trying desperately to land a takedown but Chabala is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Marcy.

Chabala takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Marcy might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chabala has got the better of the exchanges.

Chabala lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Marcy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Chabala thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Marcy if he has to take too many more of those.

Marcy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

You can see that Marcy has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
and Chabala counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Marcy! He's just covering up as Chabala starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
