Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arden Goodwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyran Gaia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaia has chosen Run Rabbit Run as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tyran Gaia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaia throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Goodwin counters with a three punch combo that has Gaia backing up. Gaia nods at Goodwin to acknowledge the strikes.
Goodwin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gaia.
Gaia fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Goodwin tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gaia manages to circle out of the way.

Gaia misses with a jab, cross combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaia dives in and grabs Goodwin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goodwin pushes down on Gaia's head and hops out.

Gaia gets tackled into the cage by Goodwin. Goodwin maintains the clinch.

Goodwin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Gaia fails to land the takedown.
Arden Goodwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyran Gaia.

Goodwin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gaia, pushing him back against the cage.
Gaia on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gaia is looking to control Goodwin's arms but Goodwin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gaia has his back to the cage.

Goodwin breaks from the clinch.
Gaia lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Arden Goodwin has been cut.
Gaia uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Gaia misses with a head kick.
Oh Goodwin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goodwin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gaia grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Goodwin takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Gaia cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
