Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toto Lorenzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toto Lorenzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Foster!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lorenzo gets a clinch.

Lorenzo jumps guard.
Lorenzo has momentary wrist control but Foster slips an elbow through the middle.
Lorenzo wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment.
Foster tries to stand but Lorenzo is controlling from the bottom.
Foster controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lorenzo striking off his back but it's not causing Foster any problems.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lorenzo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Foster manages to get himself to full guard.


That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster keeping moving, preventing Lorenzo from controlling successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Foster holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Foster's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Lorenzo trying to control but Foster is working from the bottom.
Foster pulls Lorenzo in close to prevent any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Foster has his foot on Lorenzo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lorenzo works his way back into a safe position though.
Foster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Foster moves into the clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Foster.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Foster swings around for an armbar but Lorenzo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Foster's guard.
Lorenzo is looking to work some ground and pound but Foster has wrist control.
Foster pulls Lorenzo in close to his closed guard and prevents Lorenzo from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Foster keeping moving, preventing Lorenzo from controlling successfully.
Foster is pulling down on Lorenzo's head to control his posture.
Foster tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lorenzo trying to control the position from guard on top but Foster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Foster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lorenzo is one step ahead there.
Foster is still trying to improve position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Toto Lorenzo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Foster manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lorenzo on his heels. He'll look to pass Lorenzo's guard now, I'm sure.
Lorenzo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster is pushing down on Lorenzo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lorenzo is fighting to maintain full guard but Foster has managed to sneak the leg through.
Foster content to control rather than advance.
Lorenzo is looking to improve his position.

Lorenzo manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Foster keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Foster controlling the action here for a moment.
Lorenzo is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Foster misses with a knee to the head.

Lorenzo drags the fight down to the ground.
Foster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Foster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Foster has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lorenzo wants to stand but Foster is controlling the position.
Lorenzo wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment.
Lorenzo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Foster slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Lorenzo wants to stand but Foster is controlling the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lorenzo is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Foster looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lorenzo tries to kick Foster off in order to stand up. Foster Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Foster tries for a kimura but Lorenzo is defending well.

Foster looks up at the clock and then as Lorenzo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Foster smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Foster tries to stand but Lorenzo is controlling his head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Foster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


A looping hook to the body misses from Lorenzo. Foster does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lorenzo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Foster, pushing him back against the cage.
Lorenzo wants to break free but Foster has control.

Lorenzo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lorenzo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Foster swivels and escapes.

Foster shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lorenzo is trying to defend but Foster finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lorenzo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Foster pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster is controlling the pace.
Lorenzo tries to roll over but Foster keeps him under control.

Foster working Lorenzo over with strikes.
Foster content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Foster landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Foster content to control rather than advance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Foster is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Foster wants to work for an arm triangle but Lorenzo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lorenzo kicks Foster off and gets back to his feet.

Foster clinches.

Foster has hold of one of Lorenzo's legs. Lorenzo is fighting the takedown attempt but Foster gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Foster wants to pass the guard but Lorenzo is keeping the position.

Foster slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Foster trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Lorenzo working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Foster has passed into half guard!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Foster not doing much here.
Lorenzo is looking for a sweep. Foster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Foster moves nicely into side control.
Lorenzo is trying to strike from the bottom but Foster has passed into full mount.
Foster lands a couple of good shots and Lorenzo has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Toto Lorenzo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jake Foster is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Foster is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jake Foster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Foster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
