Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axe Xolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien OQuinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). OQuinn has chosen I'm A Dog I'm Sorry- Big Tymers as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien OQuinn!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xolo with a poor takedown
and OQuinn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by OQuinn.
Xolo tries to pull guard but OQuinn forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
OQuinn works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OQuinn cracks Xolo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

OQuinn tries to counter by closing the distance.

OQuinn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Xolo. Xolo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Xolo shoots for a takedown but OQuinn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Xolo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables OQuinn to keep the fight standing.

Xolo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

OQuinn lands an elbow inside.
Still in the clinch, OQuinn scores with a nice short uppercut.
OQuinn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Xolo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
OQuinn is struggling to control the position.

A left hand lands to the body for OQuinn.
OQuinn's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on OQuinn's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
OQuinn comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
OQuinn creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Xolo's defenses.
OQuinn throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Xolos head.
Xolo is rocked!
OQuinn throws a big uppercut that drops Xolo! More strikes from OQuinn and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Xolo lies dazed against the cage as OQuinn celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damien OQuinn!
Damien OQuinn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
