Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wally Hewitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hewitt comes to the cage accompanied by Mutha Uckas. Jason Campbell told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wally Hewitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Campbell!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hewitt wants to land a leg kick but Campbell is out of range.
Campbell misses with a few strikes there.
Nice body punch from Campbell.
Hewitt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Campbell but Campbell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Campbell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Campbell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Campbell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hewitt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Campbell somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campbell throws a body punch but Hewitt moves out of range.
Hewitt keeps the fight on the outside.

Campbell clinches.

Campbell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Campbell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Campbell throws a head kick but Hewitt moves out of range.
Hewitt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hewitt drops back looking for a leg! Campbell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Campbell manages to kick Hewitt off! Hewitt jumps back into Campbell's guard.
Hewitt stands and throws Campbell's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Campbell is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hewitt is controlling him well.
Campbell throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Campbell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Campbell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hewitt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hewitt is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Campbell is surviving well by controlling Hewitt's body position as best he can.

Hewitt is trying to control the action in half guard but Campbell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Campbell wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Wally Hewitt will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hewitt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Campbell finds it's way round the side to connect with Hewitt's head.
Campbell throws a combination. Hewitt tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hewitt misses with a body shot.
Hewitt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hewitt scores with a takedown into Campbell's guard.
Hewitt stops Campbell from standing up.

Hewitt drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hewitt as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Campbell screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hewitt! Nice submission victory there!

Wally Hewitt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
