Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Greenthumb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabber throws a big shot that misses.
Greenthumb let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Jabber waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Greenthumb.
Greenthumb has a takedown stuffed.
Jabber throws a hook but Greenthumb blocks it.
Greenthumb looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jabber jabs Greenthumb to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Greenthumb slips under a jab from Jabber.
Jabber darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jabber throws a body punch but Greenthumb moves out of range.
Greenthumb moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Jabber goes down! Can Greenthumb finish him!?

It looks like Jim Jabber has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jabber stalling away here and it's allowed Greenthumb to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Greenthumb lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jabber is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Greenthumb wants to control from the top but Jabber keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doctor Greenthumb dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jim Jabber's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Jabber throws a series of punches but Greenthumb avoids them all with ease.
Greenthumb closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Doctor Greenthumb has been cut.

Jabber tries to clinch but Greenthumb is having none of it.
Greenthumb looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Greenthumb takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Jabber counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jabber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Greenthumb.
Jabber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Greenthumb, pushing him back against the cage.
Greenthumb keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jabber's efforts to push away.
Greenthumb breaks the clinch.
Jabber chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jabber throws a big shot that misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Greenthumb! But no joy.
Greenthumb throws the left hand but Jabber avoids the punch easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Greenthumb misses with an uppercut. Jabber saw that one coming.
Greenthumb moves out of range as Jabber throws a body kick.
A big right from Jabber misses.
Jabber swings widly with a right hand
and Greenthumb counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jabber throws an off balance right hand
enabling Greenthumb to counter with a crisp jab.
Jabber loads up on a big right hand but Greenthumb slips the punch.
Greenthumb keeps the fight on the outside.
It seemed like Greenthumb was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A head kick from Jabber lands but Greenthumb takes it in his stride.
Greenthumb swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jabber fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jabber darts in trying to clinch
and Greenthumb counters with a right hand that sends Jabber tumbling to the canvas! Can Greenthumb finish him? He dives into Jabber's guard looking to do just that!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Greenthumb postures up in Jabber's guard and throws a big left but Jabber blocks it.
Jabber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Greenthumb on the ground.
Jabber avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Greenthumb stands up over Jabber, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greenthumb slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Greenthumb tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Greenthumb works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Greenthumb wants to take a breather but Jabber manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Greenthumb.

Greenthumb loads up on a big left hand. Jabber felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Greenthumb looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Jabber can't hide his disappointment, as Greenthumb celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doctor Greenthumb!
A less than humble Doctor Greenthumb misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
