The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormeck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thompson appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Cormeck is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Thompson feints the counter takedown.

Cormeck lands a left and a right that send Thompson crashing to the mat, dazed. Cormeck thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Trey Thompson has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Cormeck.
Cormeck chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thompson can pounce on him.
Cormeck pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cormeck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thompson lands with a nice body punch.

Cormeck lands a big head kick that sends Thompson tumbling to the mat! Cormeck takes a step backwards and waves Thompson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Thompson is rocked!
Thompson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cormeck moves away.
Thompson is still on wobbly legs! Can Cormeck finish him?
Thompson drops his hands for a split second and Cormeck immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Thompson face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Cormeck follows up with a right hand that knocks Thompson into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Vince Cormeck tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
