Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Pateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Smith Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pateman comes to the cage accompanied by The Napoleon Blown Aparts - I Got It Bad. Smith Jr has chosen Public Enemy- shut em down as his entrance music. Mikey Smith Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Pateman does it's job there.
Pateman slips a jab and a cross from Smith Jr.
Smith Jr moves away from the strike by Pateman.
Pateman tries to clinch there but Smith Jr circles away.
Smith Jr defending well as Pateman loads up on a big left hand.
Pateman misses with an uppercut.
As Pateman backs off Smith Jr throws a huge counter combo but Pateman manages to avoid it all.
Smith Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pateman was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith Jr.
Pateman throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith Jr.
A swing and a miss from Pateman.
Smith Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pateman throws a hook but Smith Jr blocks it.
Smith Jr takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pateman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pateman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sloppy strikes from Smith Jr. Those never looked like landing.
Pateman looks to throw the jab but Smith Jr is out of range.
Smith Jr tries to counter with a clinch but Pateman shakes him off and moves away.
Smith Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Pateman throws a big shot that misses.
A clash of legs there as Smith Jr blocks the low kick.
Pateman misses with a looping left.
Pateman is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Pateman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith Jr ducks under a wild hook from Pateman.
Smith Jr is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Pateman - just one landing.
Pateman looks to land a left hand but Smith Jr moved out of range nicely.
Smith Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Smith Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pateman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice defenses there by Smith Jr.
Smith Jr slips under a jab.
Pateman throws a leg kick but Smith Jr sees it coming and moves out of range.
Smith Jr rushes Pateman and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Pateman is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Smith Jr piles on the pressure and Pateman crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
