The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gasaspo shoots in for a takedown but Vane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Silvio Gasaspo has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vane, as that shot connected.
Vane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Charles Vane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gasaspo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gasaspo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vane is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vane has escaped and now he's on top!
Gasaspo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Vane has his hands clasped together but Gasaspo extends and breaks Vane's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gasaspo.
