Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xander Coll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nati Kuperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xander Coll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nati Kuperman!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Coll there.
A lazy left from Coll finds it's target.

Kuperman misses the jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kuperman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Coll checks a leg kick nicely.
Kuperman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Xander Coll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coll lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kuperman circles away quickly and effectively.
Coll tries to clinch but Kuperman is having none of it.
Coll fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Coll throws a series of punches but Kuperman moves out of range.
Coll tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kuperman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Coll is looking to clinch but Kuperman is avoiding it.

Coll lunges at Kuperman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kuperman's hand.

Coll gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Coll gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Nati Kuperman has been cut.
Coll is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kuperman is trying to break the clinch but Coll has him pressed against the cage.
Coll creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kuperman's defenses.
Kuperman can't find room to land a body shot as Coll controls the action.

Coll breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Coll throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kuperman.
Kuperman misses with the combination.
Coll keeps the fight on the outside.
Kuperman looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Coll avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown by Kuperman or perhaps it was just good defense by Coll which made him look bad.
Coll throws a nice looking combination but Kuperman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Coll fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kuperman, pushing him back against the cage.

Kuperman has Coll pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kuperman pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Coll tumbling to the mat - Kuperman dives into Coll's guard.
Kuperman won't allow Coll to sweep him here.

Coll isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kuperman stacks Coll on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kuperman!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Coll is breathing heavily.
Some wild striking there from Coll.
Kuperman lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Coll tries to close the distance and clinch but Kuperman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Coll tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kuperman throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kuperman throws a head kick but Coll moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kuperman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Coll!

Kuperman tries to control but Coll wriggling away.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coll has given up his back here.

Kuperman connects with a big shot to the side of Coll's head.

I really don't envy Coll right now.

Kuperman is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Coll taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Kuperman.
