The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mejia walks into a straight right hand from Lil.
Lil works the jab nicely.
Lil throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lil scores with a hook to the body. Mejia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jacob Lil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mejia takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mejia takes a swing at Lil's ribcage but misses.
Lil drops Mejia with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lil follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Jacob Lil decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
