Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Stricker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanishk Soni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Stricker.
Stricker lands a front kick.
A big right from Soni misses.
Stricker lands a really nice looking cross but Soni seems unphased.

It looks like Tanishk Soni has been cut.
Stricker chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Soni throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stricker's waist but Stricker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soni off to one side.
Soni throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stricker counters with a nice leg kick.
Soni looks winded!
Stricker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Soni takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Steve Stricker was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
