Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Summa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazard is looking to clinch but Summa is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hazard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hazard tries to clinch up.

Hazard closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Summa gets back to full guard.

Summa has his foot on Hazard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hazard works his way back into a safe position though.

Hazard avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Summa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Summa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hazard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hazard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hazard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hazard tries to clinch there but Summa circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Summa is looking to control Hazard's arms but Hazard gets an underhook and turns him. Now Summa has his back to the cage.

Hazard is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Hazard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Summa keeps working.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Summa tries to control the position but Hazard now has his back.

Summa is looking to clinch but Hazard is avoiding it.

Horrible takedown by Hazard or perhaps it was just good defense by Summa which made him look bad.

Summa throws a series of punches but Hazard avoids them all with ease.

Summa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hazard sprawls well initially but Summa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Summa moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hazard has worked his arm free - good work by Hazard!
Summa is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Summa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hazard has escaped the position, nice work there.

Summa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hazard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Summa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hazard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hazard is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Summa pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Summa jumps guard and drags Hazard to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
