Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristian Breddam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kristian Breddam!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breddam misses with a head kick.
Breddam throws a series of punches but Shaw moves out of range.
Shaw stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Breddam.
Breddam pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Breddam throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Breddam lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A solid leg kick lands there for Breddam.
Shaw shoots in but no luck this time.

Breddam throws a head kick that misses.
Breddam looks to land a combination but Shaw avoids it well.
Shaw ducks under a wild hook from Breddam.
Shaw could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Breddam shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kristian Breddam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shaw seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Breddam for as long as he can get away with.
Shaw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Simon Shaw will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
